About me

My name is Katie Neal and for as long as I can remember everyone has said my name as if it were one word, katieneal.

Raised in the heart of the Midwest my acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was lost in mail, so I was forced to denounce all magical powers and live out the remainder of my life as a muggle.

My sister sucked all the patience out of our gene pool and my brother took all the artistic ability. Leaving me with really impatient stick figures.

Upon seeing the little mermaid as a child I was instantly furious with my Mother for not naming me Ariel. I am now thankful she denied my request to have it legally changed.

When I get hungry, I get angry. I refer to it as, hangry…and I take no responsibility for anything I say or do in this fragile state.

I collect little black dresses because having just one seems completely unreasonable.

I get cabin fever about once every three months and usually end up emptying my bank account to cure it.

I studied abroad once and unless you want to hear an earful about how magical it was, don’t ask.

I can’t stay mad about anything, its takes too much effort.

Bourbon makes me happy.

I love surprising people…but I’m terrible at being surprised.  Sorry, Ted.

Some days I feel like I might actually die of a broken heart if I don’t get a puppy.

I have a strong opinion about one thing and it’s not having a strong opinion on anything.  If you say black or white, I will most likely choose grey.

Reality television = slow painful torture.

My favorite movie is The Goonies, second is Mean Girls.

I could eat sushi everyday for the rest of my life.

I live in constant fear that somewhere my friends are doing something fun without me.

My longest standing relationship is with fun and freedom.

I love going to the movies

I don’t know how I lived a single day without Google.

My father thinks I am the most dramatic person he has ever met and I think that is most ridiculous thing I have heard in my entire life.
